More Summer Art Walk News
THE ART WALK IS A FREE EVENT!

It is the summertime Miracle Mile Art Walk! New Galleries, LACMA PAC Members Opening Exhibition, MEARONE, Major exhibition "Arshile Gorky" and "Patrick Graham" at Jack Rutberg Fine Arts, and TheMojaMoja.com After Party with Music Lounge Curated by KCRW DJ Garth Trinidad; all happening on Saturday, July 17 from 2:00-10:00pm!

Outdoor spaces, interactive workshops, music, receptions, artist talks, sunshine, people, fun! The summertime Art Walk in the Miracle Mile is going to be very inter-active, encompassing all art and photography galleries, museums, and introducing a few new stops within the Mid City WEST Community Council boundaries.

The Art Walk begins at 2:00 and ends at 10:00pm. The Starline Tours Trolley, is scheduled and is a free shuttle that takes art, photography and creativity lovers throughout the District from
3:00 till 8:00pm.

Also happening during the Miracle Mile Art Walk:

A Live Art Installation for the community by famed L.A. street artist, MEARONE. MEAR is a member of the prestigious Vox Humana program of the L.A. ART MACHINE. Curated by Bryson Strauss, Vox Humana is a series of carefully selected live art happenings in the U.S. and abroad by legendary California street artists. Learn more by visiting the website.

Don't miss the Miracle Mile Art Walk After Party at The Loft at Liz's! Sponsored by TheMojaMoja.com with Music Lounge curated by KCRW DJ, Garth Trinidad, and Bear Flag Wine. $5 donation to go to the Art Walk fund. This is the gathering place wrapping up the Summertime Miracle Mile Art Walk! Close to 20 galleries are holding opening receptions, artist talks, or art walk related functions. In addition, all galleries and museums listed are open and LACMA is offering free admission all day!

This truly is a destination for lovers of art and creativity and is the place to be on Saturday, July 17!

Ample street and paid lot parking located off Wilshire Blvd., between Curson and Ogden. The main start and stop point for the Starline Tours Trolley is the Berlin Wall installation, located at 5900 Wilshire Blvd. First loop begins at 3:00pm finishing up at 8:00pm.
