October Art Walk Events

The Mid City West Community Council would like to announce two dates for the October Miracle Mile Art Walk:

Gallery Night Out - Thursday, October 20th, 5-9pm
Miracle Mile Art Walk - Saturday, October 22nd, 2-10pm

(ALL Mid City West Museums are part of PST, and ALL galleries participating in Pacific Standard Time will be indicated with their official stamp on all printed materials and on our website.)

The Arts committee is offering for one night only the "Gallery Night Out" component in addition to the traditional Saturday, Miracle Mile Art Walk, due to many of the galleries holding Pacific Standard Time, (PST) exhibitions and related functions.

PST, sponsored by the Getty Research Institute is a Research Project that offers an unprecedented Los Angeles-wide series of exhibitions focusing on postwar art in Southern California. Both dates are free of charge unless otherwise indicated.

Adding one more night gives art lovers, collectors and those experiencing this area for the first time an opportunity to enjoy the many galleries and museums within our community without having to pick and choose which exhibitions to see in one day.

The exhibition details and schedule can be found at www.miraclemileartwalk.com, or by e-mailing MMAW Director and MCWCC Arts Chair, Shawni Dracoules at: SDracoules@midcitywest.org. Many thanks to our sponsors, MCWCC, LACMA, The Beverly Center, Friends of Mid City West, and many galleries located throughout the Miracle Mile Arts District.
